Antezole Deworming Tablets for Dogs

Each tablet contains:

Praziquantel: 50 mg
Pyrantel Pamoate: 140 mg
Oxantel Pamoate: 545 mg

Roundworms: Treatment & control
Hookworms: Treatment & control
Whipworms: Treatment & control
Tapeworms: Treatment & control
Echinococcus: Treatment & control

Unlike the Antezole Liquid we just looked at, the tablets provide much broader worm coverage and contain praziquantel for direct tapeworm treatment.

Life Stage: Puppies, Adult & Senior Dogs

Dog Size: All breed sizes

Dose: 1 tablet per 10 kg body weight

Suitable For: Routine broad-spectrum deworming against roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms

Antezole Deworming Tablets can be used in puppies, adult and older dogs, with the scored tablet allowing flexible dosing according to body weight. South African retail product information also lists the tablets as suitable for pregnant and lactating dogs.

Puppies can begin routine deworming from 2 weeks of age.

Administer 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight. No fasting or special feeding is required before treatment.

Because each tablet is scored into quarters, the dose can be adjusted for smaller dogs:
2.5 kg | ¼ tablet
5 kg | ½ tablet
7.5 kg | ¾ tablet
10 kg | 1 tablet
20 kg | 2 tablets
30 kg | 3 tablets
40 kg | 4 tablets

Tablets may be given whole, divided using the scored lines, or crushed and mixed into food.

Puppies: Deworm every 2 weeks from 2–12 weeks of age, then monthly until 6 months.

Adult Dogs: Routine deworming every 3 months.

Dogs at greater risk of worm infestation may require a different deworming schedule as advised by their veterinarian.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, provided items are unused and in their original condition and packaging. Edible, made-to-order and personalised items cannot be returned. Individual items from Good Dog Boxes cannot be returned or exchanged.
